SA: Escapee to appear in court
South Australia's most wanted man will appear in court today after being recaptured yesterday.
Prison escapee ANTHONY JOHN SMITH, 20, will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court
charged over his escape and an armed robbery on March 8 last year.
SMITH has been on the run since March 1 last year when he decamped from Royal Adelaide
Hospital while visiting a family member under supervision.
Police say SMITH was arrested without incident at a house in the north-eastern Adelaide
suburb of Greenwith yesterday afternoon.
A woman, 37, and a girl, 17, were also arrested and charged with harbouring an escapee.
